Getting C-33 License with Responsible managing officer / Employee (RMO / RME)

Hello All,
I am a pressure washer who has been working for several years looking to transition into Deck Restoration. I wish to do everything the right way so that means I need a Contractor License here in Californa. I am a sole proproter looking to go with an s corp. I see getting a license two ways. Either I get someone with a C-33 Painters license to join as an officer (RMO responsible managing officer) or I find someone with 4 years experiance to become the RME (responsible managing employee) and take the test (I would have to pay workmans comp?)
Here are some questions I have:

Should I incorporate before I get the RMO / RME
how should my RMO be paid?
If I have an RMO do I have to Pay workmans comp
Does an officer of the corporations need to have shares or ownership in the corporation
How much does workmans comp cost?
Can an RMO be cliff vested?
Can an RMO leave and not effect the ownership of the Company?
Is RME
