Florida GC License

I just passed my GC exam and need some advice.

The person verifying my experience is out of the country for the next 2 months. He has already signed and had notarized my application, but being as though he is in the middle east I wasn’t sure if my issuance of license would be on hold until the CILB had a chance to contact him via phone or direct mail.

If this is the case I will need to find another GC I have worked for to verify my experience. If his notarized signature on the application is enough then I would like to know more about your services.

Anyone know if the board contacts the GC verifying experience?

Re: Florida GC License

When we got our GC license they did not contact our signer so you should not have any issues with this. The only reason I can think that they would is if he has a history of signing for a lot of people. Either way.. if you everything is in order then you should be fine.

Re: Florida GC License

They didn't contact any of the people on my list.

I was told that they only go back and do verification if you run into problems. Stay legit and you should be just fine.

Good luck.

Re: Florida GC License

Mikegee, usually there is no contact made, unless your signer has a red flag, they will only make contact with him if down the road your company get's into some kind of hot water.
