Florida CBC Applicant....and Background/criminal Checks
I understand that the board will obtain a background/criminal check for applicants.
If the applicant (yes...me) has been cited for contracting without a license, will the application be denied because of this? Also, a credit report is requested from all applicants. What is the purpose of this? Is a minimum FICO score required? |

Re: Florida CBC Applicant....and Background/criminal Checks
They are trying to find out if you are of good moral character. There is no credit score they require. DBPR CILB is just looking for liens, judgements etc. You're not buying a car or home. I do not know how you're unlicensed activities would affect your application. I would assume negatively if you were arrested for it. Call them and ask.
