Florida C.I.L.Board

Anyone familiar with Florida's "qualifying additional business entity" gig? I am aware that the applicant must present evidence of supervisory ability & financial responsibility of each such organization. Once Tallahassee has okayed your application, it is presented to CILB's additional entity committe for final approval. ALL APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD at one of their monthly meetings at some determined location. Has anyone been through this process or know of anyone that has and could kindly give some insight?

Re: Florida C.I.L.Board

After 2.5 months there have been almost 100 views, yet 0 replys. Is there anyone else in the State of Florida that has the experience & compentency to run at least 2 business entities? AMAZING! To toot my own horn, I have a total of 4 licenses with the DBPR, yet 1 currently active- thus the quagmire.
Is anyone competent out there to reply to my original question? Knuckleheads need not respond.

Well not to toot my HORN but if I were in your shoes I think I would pick up the "PHONE" and talk to someone at DBPR.

Obviously no one here knows.

Re: Florida C.I.L.Board

If you talk to the DBPR, one will get 1000 different answers. Anyways went to Palm Beach last week to this CILB meeting. Waited until my name was called and said two sentences and they said approved. Almost everyone at the meeting got approved. Their were a few people who had techniqually been 'contracting' and found out that they actually needed a license, thus if you paid anywhere from 7k-12k a license would be issued. Bottom line, just more State hurdle/hassle. No biggy.
