Flooring Installation Licensing In Chicago-land

Hi there,

We are a flooring isntallation company, Mada Chicago Flooring and i recently attended a meeting in Chicago in which the state and federal jobs have been presented. One of their requirments in order to get a government contract is to be licensed and certified.

Does anyone know what the requirments for licensing and certification are?

i would say that you dont need a license but registered with CCR (look it up)
Central Contractor Registry...........

where i am from you register with the state as well
