Electrical Contractors Opinion
Happy New Year Everyone,
Need your opinion about a situation I'm in. I'm a Electrical Contractor starting off, and this Low Voltage Security System company wants to hire me as a full time electrician and use my electrical contractor for the company. I'm a journeyman and contractor electrician. The company will offer me paid health insurance, pay for my contractors insurance, my renewal of license, holiday pay, offer 401k, company vehicle, and I can do other electrical work of my own during my time off. The question I Have is that the company wants to put me on salary instead of hourly and need your opinion of the rate I should ask for in the state of Hawaii. And do you think this is a good deal? I'm also thinking about the laibilities of my business since I'm a Sole Proprietor. Thanks |
