Can You Recommend A Classroom Based Exam Preparation Class For California "B" Contractors License?

I'm not interested in web based classes.

Who has the best class? I don't mind traveling anywhere in California for a good class. I live in Georgia so I have to travel anyway.

I dont know if they are the "best" but I attended and graduated from CSLS in the Bay area. They have classrooms throughout California

Just wondering why? You live in Georgia [right?]

I've never found the web or 'home study' materials to be of any real value with the passing the contractors state license boards test to prepare you for the exams. Have you looked into more information from the cslb site http://www.cslb.ca.gov/ There is also a member here that is also a member of the California contractors board.

I live in Georgia but we work all over the South. We've had to turn down opportinities with clients that own property nationwide. We have licenses in all the Southern states but we are missing out on too many opportunities in the West. Once we have our California, Nevanda and Arizona licenses we will open a small office in the West.

I have 19 years experience, degree, references, etc. My application is almost complete. I will mail it next week so now I'm looking for a good class.

There seem to be a number of companies that offer exam prep classes. I hope someone with recent, first hand, experience can recommend a good one.
