I've got a pic of a D11 sitting up on the catwalk next to the wheel. I'll post a pic as soon as I get out of my meeting.

Or maybe not I haven't posted 15 times yet. What is this a "union" moderated forum.....?

Some of the strip mines use those things here. I watched one of the 'daddy' channels once and they showed how the bucket on one of those could move dirt the size of a house in one scoop. Got to give it to the Germans to come up with equipment like that. Have you seen the tunnel boring machines they build? Impressive, to say the least.

I wouldn't want to be the head mechanic on one. I can't even keep my battery drill working.

Saw a show about that one once. They were moving it as well. I couldnt belive it when they said they were just going to drive straight that way to move it.
