The Years Half Over

It's July 4th, we're in the 3rd quarter. 6 months left to 2006. First 1/2 of the year flew by.

How are things going?

Going to buy any new equipment this year?

A new truck?

Is there enough work coming in?

Is the weather treating you OK?

Are we making money?

Is your life on track?

How are things?

Nick,
Things are fine, and think of it this way the second half of the year is just begining. What could be better?

First half of the year was slow. Things are really busy now and we have a backlog. If things come out right, we will have 2 or 3 site work jobs for residential developments next year. If we get them, we will be getting another artic haul truck and dozer.

Sounds good Rino, hope it works out for you!

Just checked our numbers for the first half of 06 we are up 29% from the first half of 05. That must explain why I am tired all the time.

We are not back logged but have some projects coming up and a good handfull to bid.
If I could just get out of the babysitting business things could be better.

Re: The Years Half Over

Hey guys, I finally did my first excavation job today Mrs. Ron wanted to put a pond in our backyard and wanted me to dig the hole It was not that big, so I didn't bother renting an excavator, just used my trusty shovel Almost 4 ft. deep and about 20 ft. in circumference but all clay and really hard. Added water to soften up a little and only took me about 6 hrs. Great way to start the second half of the year Will this job qualify me as an excavator dude

Ron, Talk to Ricpacer he's got a real sweet deal for ya. Shovel? You don't really sound like excavator material yet, , but sounds like you'd make a swell laborer. Got plans for next week?

Fat dumb and happy. We're set to break last years sales by a good margin. Woot!
