Who Knew??

Other than running the equip. and doing the office work associated with it I really don't keep up with the different manufacturer's or what their up to. Anyways we're buying a mini ex. , a Kobelco 35sr. Yesterday another salesman sees the machine on a job we're doing and stops by( did business with him yrs. ago) He asks about the Kobelco then asks if we'de be interested in trying a Case, turns out according to him Case owns Kobelco. I mean it's the exact same machine with the exception of the decals. Why? Who Knew??

CNH global is a equipment manufacturing company that owns Case, Link-Belt, Kobelco and New Holland. They are trying to merge with these other companies to cut down on engineering costs.

That is correct the New Holland excavators are also Kobelco.

I leased a Kobelco SR45 a few years ago, it was a good machine. Rented a SR35 for a couple weeks, I thought it was a very slow digger. I bought a Bobcat 435 ZHS which has the zero clearance, I liked it best.
