What type of work do you make your most money on?
We make ours on boulder setting around pools and backyards as retaining walls and decorative. Nick |

Re: Whats Your Money Maker
Nick,
How do you set boulders when you're doing a retaining wall? Thumb on machine, chain them?

Re: Whats Your Money Maker
Joe,
it depends on the detail of the wall. I only put a thumb on my machine last year so most have been just with the bucket. Our bucket has a long lip and teeth, with a curve to the side cutters. We chain rocks that have to fit in an exact spot or some of the really big ones. We like the artistic stuff and have a lot of fun. We have gone to Greenwich to set rocks Joe, if you need some help. Re: Whats Your Money Maker
Nick,
I'll keep that in mind. Do you have any pics. of walls that you have done over the years? It always amazes me when I see a wall out of boulders that really looks good. I've seen quit a few, unfortunatly none that I have done. I never had the patience, and still don't.
