Talked to the guys and we decided if it's O degrees tomorrow morning and their still saying 13 degrees for the high we might just take the day off.

What am I going to do with myself???

We aren't working outside tomorrow either. We have our artic haul truck in the shop for repairs and we are working on that. Money is going out of the bank fast this winter and it is just half over.

1 degree this morning. It got to 11 degrees at 1 PM and then headed back down. About 8.5 degrees now. An invigorating breeze blowing all day to keep it interesting.

It's been -25*C with the wind chill factor here lately. There's a new construction development across the street from my house and it's been very quite outside.
BTW... I think that's about 100 below zero farenheit

Spring is here!!!

About 0 to 2" of snow on grass. None on streets and sidewalks. Little frost in the ground where there is snow.

Saw my first Harley in over 5 weeks and it is 41!

Too bad many contractors went south and let someone in the back door this year. It will take a year to get back in the door since things have not really shut down.

wasn't warm or cold here today, in high 20's built a drain oil pan on casters today, with a 2" bung on top we can put 5 psi of air to, hook a 1" discharge hose to bottom, pump up into our tank, got sick of having oil spill out of pails when dragging them out from under trucks, equipment, and then spilling it again putting it in waste oil tank. changed oil on loader, 2 excavators, now to change some teeth, cutting edges. rebuild the qc on our deere loader, it's getting a little sloppy, wish jrb made weld in replacement parts for them

I always thought that it was an interesting balancing act to be a fair employer and offer hours to the employees to support their families vs. knowing that you may be paying for an 8 hr. day to get 3 productive hrs. of work.

Same here. Although I work only inside. Windchill was about -15 to -20F outside. My lips are chapped from walking from my truck to the house tho.

1 here this morning but it's warming up to about 20 today. The frost is in uncovered ground deep now. 3 weeks ago today there was no frost any where.
