Tires

What do you do for tires?

Do you buy a specific brand?

Do you buy quality?

Do you just buy deals?

Do you think of plys or belting?

Do you have a favorite tread for?

Light duty?

Medium duty?

Heavy duty?

Re: Tires

My "02" F350 I believe has "Generals" on it have 58,000 miles on them and are pleading with me to replace them. I'm pushing for a couple more thousand miles. All weather tread, and I will be replacing them with the same tire. Heavy Duty.

Re: Tires

We experiment with tires to see which get the best wear. So far, we have had good luck with Sumitomo's and Michelin's. We don't like to buy too expensive of tires because with the type of work we do, it is very easy to cut a tire.

Re: Tires

I don't buy tires, I get new trucks. Just kidding. I'm the Michelin man. I've been using them for over 30 yrs. Porsche's to work trucks, I seem to get the most bang for the buck.
