Are Things Changing

In the past three weeks I have gotten 4 calls from good quality people that are looking for jobs. They all work or worked for big outfits. Seems things are not that busy. I haven't had inquiries like this since 91, if you were around then and remember how the economy was back then.

Re: Are Things Changing

Contrary to popular recent opinion, the sky is not falling. The numbers seem to indicate that residential new construction is leveling off and returning to a more "normal" level. Commercial is still about the same as it's been.

Re: Are Things Changing

I constantly worry about the economy when I am starting new spec homes, using my credit and finances. There is not a slowdown in sight for our work, we are still booked out 6 months, and I can't even start the specs (lack of a crew to send), but I still think I will wake up tomorrow and have no work.....spooky...but this comes from going through a collapse a few times.
