Splish Splash!
Well long over due I had to take my truck in for a bath today. They seemed to have done away with the do-it-yourself car washes around here and are all automated, well 50% automated and 50% of are friends from other lands. The problem being they don't take duallies.
So I stopped at Splash and asked the young feller how much to hand wash and wax it. He said $50.00 and I went then asked "good job" he said always. So I went inside while they did their thing and WOW 1 hr. later it was like I had a new truck again, really did a great job. Just thought I'd share this with anyone who gives a rats azz.

Ever have one of those days where all you do is spend money everytime you turn around? I know that was a real silly question. Went to Hilti in Stamford this a.m. and bought a new demo hammer ( gave me $250.00 trade in for one I bought in "85" ), then ordered a new plate compactor, truck wash, then bought my daughter a Gliding rocker and ottomon for our future grandson. Then on the way home had to stop at Directions and get a weather vane for cupola. Give me a break, ok I'm finished.
