Septic Line Replacement

My neighbor called today and needs the line to his septic tank replaced. All of my machines are busy on this sillway repair job, and likley will be for another 6 weeks. I was thinking of using wy boys' sandbox trackhoe (the kind with the seat and two levers) but i'm not sure about pricing. What is the going rate for a 10# class excavator? Should I bid it by the foot? How much? I'm not sure of the production capabilities of this machine. I could really use some help PLEASE.

It all depends on the experience of the operator. Your son should bill out at $90/hr, but if you run it then I am guessing more like $10/hr. Good luck

Why not use the same Guy that estimated the sillway job?

Re: Septic Line Replacement

way too many unknown variables to estimate a cost by the foot. 90 bucks an hour sounds like plenty for that type of machine though. How does your neighbor know the line needs replaced?
