Proposal Forms
Thanks in advanced for any help.
Curious as to what other guys are using to submit bids to customers for residential dirt projects. Well i pretty muchh write out what job is going to be performed but it seems like there is so much stuff that needs to be included , ie dewatering is an added cost, unforseen circumstances, licensed electrician must wire septic, stuff like that. There must be an easier way or form out there. any examples would be much appreciated. |

Re: Proposal Forms
Marcus,
We use a Word document as our estimate form. We have the standard wording that is needed for every job in it. The wording that only applies to specific jobs we have saved on it's own page in a estimate stationary folder where we can copy and paste. This works for us because every job we do is different in some aspect and I like to add things in instead of deleting things not necessary. This is just for estimates. We have an "Agreement" that is set up in the same manner when the customer wants to bind the work. This is 6 pages long before I put in the Job specific information. I did just have made some custom forms by NEBS for our daily log and equipment log. They worked with me to get it just the way I want it. Some went 8-10 drafts. They were very helpful and The cost I thought reasonable. If your work is much the same a form may be what you want.
