Re: Nick, This Anywhere Near You?
Day,
About 30 minutes East and a little South. We have water everywhere.

Re: Nick, This Anywhere Near You?
our washouts are unbelievable,
small bridge gone, banks gone everywhere, post office was actually closed due to flooding... the "coolest" thing i saw, part of rt 72 was actually "floated" by hydrosatic pressure... ill be taking detours home for the 18 months i bet.. im guessing im about 30-40 min south of denick. on a sidenote, many residential basements are flooded, I entertained the thought of letting my pumps be used by the residents or f/d, but then the liabilities crossed my mond.. its a shame i could drain 7 or 8 basements a day... ray

Re: Nick, This Anywhere Near You?That's for sure....never a good thing. I'm at the end of the state where most of the water from Nick's area ends up and we also had 6+ inches of rain, I saw some houses ruined and a lot of landscape damage, hopefully no one was injured. Contractors will have even more work this year. |
