Agtek is notorious for making sure you spend as much money as possible. Unfortunately they have a really good product though, it keeps my business going strong doing earthwork takeoffs. If you do buy the software prepare to pay a $3000 transfer fee.

My company has an Agtek 3D license and digitizer board we would like to sell. Bought new in 2005 for $17,650. Will sell for $4,000, support would have to be negociated with Agtek.

Just saw this post and thread - our company recently closed - and I have key for Agtek Earthwork 3D I'd sell for $3,000. Also a Gitco Roll up Digitizer Board w/ carrying case (board has some damaged grid lines which can by repaired) we'd throw in for an extra $250. Plus shipping costs. if you choose to register this key with Agtek - you'd need to pay their transfer fees.

Anyone interested?

Just curious. Why would you have to register it with Agtek ??

Registering your key (serial #) with Agtek gives you access to program updates and support programs if desired.

The program new runs somewhere over $15,000. Buying just an extra key works for companies that have a registered program and want to run it on another machine. Pat

that's my understanding - I kow people who have used the Agtek program without transferring it to their name. However you don't get updates or any tech support. We had it registered and used the tech support because of the volume of bids we did.
