More Good Information Here Than In A Library!
Contractor Talk Forums have more useful information in them than a library full of books.

Yes, there is plenty of good stuff here! Just wanted to say hello to all on the board and let you know if you have any boring questions just let me know. We specialize in horozontal directional drilling so if you need to know anything about it just let me know. I will try to steer you in the right direction. (Bad puns! Sorry!)

This board is a great resource, and I'm trying to be good contributor.
Russel, you using the Ditch Witch machine. I had some work on my job. The crew ran my sewer, storm, power and TV/Telco 80' vertical down the bluff with one. First time for them going downhill so much. They pulled-in my 12" PVC storm drain-incredible machine. |

Re: More Good Information Here Than In A Library!
Thanks to all you folks out there who contribute your time and great wealth of information.
This forum is for sharing, learning and listening to people's life experiences in the real world of construction. We read about the latest and greatest in the industry and people try it and then come here and share their experience. To me, it's like a Consumer Report for Contractors. I have a customer interested in composite decking I will go to past threads and inform myself and my client about the pros & cons of using this current product that has mixed reviews. What special construction methods do I need to account for in my estimate.... What's the best fastening system..... What is the HO's expectation concerning staining, durability, and maintenance? Thanks to all of you ![]() ![]() ![]() Shhhhhhhhhh....quiet....I'm in the Library..............

Re: More Good Information Here Than In A Library!
I would figure out what contractors need directional drilling done and market to them. Electrical contractors are the first that come to mind, phone company, maybe mechanical contractors... Would have been more work to go get in 2006.
Hopefully some boring contractors will chime in and answer your question better. |
