Laser

Bought a laser today. It is a spectra LL400. It has a remote, amagnet to mount on my equipment, 1600' range, and slope adjustment. 1700$. I was using the crap that you can buy at home depot. Damn thing broke, the liquid emptied out of theleveler. Does that stuff freeze?

Re: Laser

What are the most popular brands of lasers? Also what features make them more popular than the others. Good features vs not so good features.

Re: Laser

I have a LB-2 that I bought in "86", had the eternal bat. replaced about 7 yrs. ago. Great lazer, I guess you can just say they don't make them like they use to. If I remember right it cost about 1800.00 at the time, also bought the remote at the time but it had to be hard wired to the machine it was a real pain. Since then I bought a magnetic wireless sensor for it. Works great! The newer lasers are ok, prices have really come down, bought one a couple of yrs. ago for the other truck, just don't see it holding up as well as the LB-2 has. To light duty.

Re: Laser

We have 3 AGL lasers.

2 of them are rotational level lasers that cost $1500 and the other one is a pipe laser that we got for $4,800.
