Komatsu PC150 ?

Currently dealing on this machine... Anyone have any reasons to stay away from this brand/model? Good/bad points? Thanks, Paul

Re: Komatsu PC150 ?

Gene.... The pads are pretty narrow. I had taken that into account as i plan on keeping my Cat 225 for more of the boggy soupy stuff. The Kom is 8' 6'' across the pads... Nice to be able to haul without a permit. Tha Cat is 10' wide.... A bit of a pain. Paul

Re: Komatsu PC150 ?

Nick.. It has a switch in the cab, hydraulic lines to the coupler.

Gene, Roto lock? any more info? Is that JRB's terminology or a generic term?

Machine comes with a 2' bucket which I dont know if I will have much use for... Found a 36'' Hensley for $1500, Decent condition from the pics, missing one tooth. Never had a machine w/o a thumb.... Will the 36'' bucket, quick coupler and mechanical thumb be too much weight on the end of the stick? They're getting closer to what I want to do on price so I may end up with this one before the end of the month.... Thanks, Paul

Re: Komatsu PC150 ?

wish i had a closer pic of that coupler, but it appears to be a rotoloc...it allows for varied pin spacing on buckets. i.e.....you're not pushed into running only komatsu buckets if the spacing falls within the limits the coupler is set up for. we run buckets from our deere/hyundai/case...all on each other because of this feature.
