Just Checking

It's May 16 and things have fallen pretty quiet here on the forum.

I hope it's because everyone is working as much as they can physicaly take. Lets hear how things are with you work wise.

How about some pictures of jobs?

It's my hope that business is good. But the more important stuff, health and family etc, are my biggest concern for all.

Hey anyone ever see dsnAK cruising the forum. Last time he posted he was on his way to Brazil? I hope he made it back.

Re: Just Checking

We are too busy and work keeps piling up. I just completed a sandmound and I'll post some pics. Right now we are clearing 2 lots and getting them ready for the blaster to come in and shoot them. I also have to go into a detention basin that we did to clean it up to get ready to turn the development over to the township.

Family is doing real good. Almost time for another little one running around.

Re: Just Checking

den, ive been very busy...im just a small one man operation but im slammed...im booked for the next 3 weeks and have some jobs lined up for June also...all small one/two day jobs

as this is my first spring i was nervous going in without much work, but now i can see my niche...small residential jobs, and its working out quite nicely...

i run only a skid steer and dump truck but there seems to be plenty of demand for homeowners...i do all and any bobcat work leveling, grading, spreading of loam, removal of dirt/fill etc...

Busy busy busy.. To early to tell if its going to be a good year or not.

Looks like i will be buying a excavator in the next week or so. New or used i am still up in the air. Also buying another truck in the next month. Been looking at hook lifts.

I think i am booked out for alittle more than 2 months, but i still get nervous and worried about the future.

Re: Just Checking

I've been pretty busy lately, a lot going on here, plenty to bid on, some we bid months ago are locked in and waiting to start.

I have some pics to post but have not had the time. Paper work is KILLING me....

Other than that life is good!

Feel free to use that quote as you see fit, I am planning on a copyright.....since I did make that one up.

Re: Just Checking

All last week before my graduation I was working 13-14 hours / day. But today just resting. I brought a T-6 power rake tuesday and used it yesterday for the first time. Man that thing tore the yard up in a heart beat. Way quicker than riding around with grader box with teeth on the back, but otherwise everything is moving pretty good so far.
