HuH

Perforated pipe has been around along time even before plastic pipe. I have had 3 people in the construction business not to long ago ask, "do the holes face up or down?" They all have installed pipe before. If 3 people ask how many more need to know?

Re: HuH

That is nothing. I was installing radon piping in a foundation. The homeowner asked me if the radon piping is suppose to have holes in it. I said "how do you think the radon gets into the pipes". He said "I guess you're right".

This is coming from the same guy that wanted to put the sump bucket/pump outside. That way if he is away on vacation and his pump breaks that the foundation will hold back the water. Yeah, those superior walls that sit on pea gravel will hold back the water all right.

Oh man, I wish that homeowners weren't allowed on the jobsites.

Re: HuH

You mean they make perforated pipe now? All this time I've been drilling them! What will they think of next? Sure would be nice if you didn't have to miter the corners .
