hug your wife tonight

we had some crappy weather early this week. my wife's co-worker's wife took their near new dodge 4x4 pickup to work yesterday instead of her car because she was afraid of the icy road conditions. well.........the truck got away from her, in the worst possible place of the 35 miles she had to drive. she had to swim out of this mess, only got scrapes, coupla bruises. my wife called me this a.m....said he sent his wife roses today...guess he likes her more than his truck

Glad she is ok. That is why my fiance almost never drives my work truck especially in bad weather. If she has to go somewhere then I will drive her. It's not that I don't trust her but to go from driving a small acura to a large powerful truck is not easy. They don't drive the same way. It would be too easy for my truck to get away from her

That is one tough girl to go through that and then have to swim on top of it. Glad she is OK. Don't sweat the little things, and always give that hug or kiss , you never now when these things will happen. And even though we would never admit it they can happen to us too. A friend of mine lost his wife when a tractor backhoe on a trailer came loose from a dump truck and she hit it head on when it came into her lane. There wasn't anything she could do it happened so fast. Thank God they did hug and kiss that morning. The hardest thing for him to overcome was that 2 weeks pryor to that he had told a telemarketer that his wife couldn't come to the phone because she had died in a traffic accident. It was very tragic she was early 30's.
