How Much For A Septic System?

In our part of CT a very simple septic seems to cost $ 8,000. With so many engineered systems needing a lot of sand $ 35,000. might be an average.

What does it cost where you are?

Nick

Gee its nice to have some activity today.

Joe did you go to the show? I couldn't get away.

10,000 Actually i have a uncle who does them. But i never see the guy. I seen him about a year ago when i was eating in Bradley. I asked him said usually around 10,000. They only need to be installed if you building in rural area. Which a lot of people are. They go to a farmer buy a piece of his corn field and build a house on it.

Not sure if it is standard, but around my area, the minimum is 600 sq ft. We charge a minimum of $14.00 per sq ft. If it is on a steep slope and requires alot more sand and fill, we will charge more.

Therefore, the minimum that we charge is $8,400.

Re: How Much For A Septic System?

When we do a job that isn't served by municipal sewers, I'd say the avg. cost for a septic is $24,000 to $32,000 depending on how much fill is required. On the septic I just finished last week the septic fill was $26.00/yd. Then paying $15,00-$18.00/yd. for berm fill and a couple of hundred/ galley, plus being a pump system it adds up real quick.

Joe,
probably a good thing you didn't go then, I've heard a lot of complaints about the parking and the show was not as good as in the past they said.

Re: How Much For A Septic System?

#1 cost of suitable septic sand & how much needed if any
#2 are septics required to be engineered
#3 does your state have stringent contractor registration? lessens competion and raises bottom end profits

prices vary 500% according to region alone. There are so many variables at hand its impossible to say

in florida s.w fla avg septic repair drainfield repl 2 bd home $4500
$6k
subsurface. Liftstation 360 s.f mound $6000-$12,000 depending on soils
we are a sandy state sand is cheap $4 yd
