40 degree slope is pretty steep. They make a wire that you can cover it with and pin in the ground or you can grout it.

Drift,

A 400 lb rock isn't too big. What are you really doing on this slope? how wide and tall is the area? What type of soil? What is the runoff area ?

Is there anything you could put there that will withstand an earthquake?

Do you have pictures of the area?

Yeah, I though about that after reading it again. I thought you had 400 lbs of stone not 400 lb stones.

Thank's guys

This is part landscape design project ,pavers, retaining wall, woodwork.

I will cut down on the stone size, for safety. I bring in a landscape designer for our projects. hill soil has many surface tree roots. These boulders are for eye candy

question to driftwood

Hey driftwood,

are you the same outfit as driftwood salvage that is running the pre-demolition sales on the penninsula. I think you run out of East Palo Alto. I read about your sales and I think that it is just awesome that you are recovering things to raise money for charity in East Palo Alto. that is just fantastic. What a great service and what a great business concept. I looked at your website and I am very impressed.

The outfit in East Palo Alto is called driftwood salvage.

Their website is driftwoodsalvage.com Check it out

They run a big salvage yard and also conduct house salvage sales at homes that are slated for demolition.

So, where are you in Marin County and what's the name of your firm. I am up in Marin all the time. What a coincidence!
