Here's One For Wolf

Here is one I did last week. It was a older abandoned house that caught on fire and was partially burned. The walls were block and sat on a slab. I put all of the wood into (2) 40yd dumpsters and hauled some dirt in and covered up the block. Sorry for the first couple pics being dark, I took them at 6:30 AM before I started.

Nice work Rino. When I do house demos I like to listen to the band TOOL. It makes a great sound track for the demo. Using an excavator to demo a house is just way cool to me.

Awesome job, Rino--and great pictures too.

Especially like the one of your bucket pusing up against the house.

And the one of the bedroom ripped apart.

Boy, that place looks like a real dump. Must have been fun to wreck it. LOL.

Thanks for posting. Others?

Here's a couple fresh one's. A job we're on now that 100+ townhouses came down to make room for new apartments.

Re: Here's One For Wolf

Here are some photos of a job I did in 2001. This was my second time ever running an excavator. This was a tricky job. It was a 2 story house with a subterranean basement. The outside walls where made of unreinforced (no rebar or grout) hollow cell brick (kinda like cmu block but made from brick). This stuff was really unstable. The tallest wall was only 3 feet away from the property line fence. Only a few small 1 inch crumbs of dabree landed on the neighbors driveway!

Here is a link to the rest of the photos.

Unreinforced brick block!
