General Liability Insurance
How much do you pay for general liability insurance? Can you dig pools? Is your insurance based on payroll?

Re: General Liability Insurance
MC,
we pay 10.069% of payroll for excavation class. Our audit is the month after the end date of the policy and the auditor comes to the office. We can excavate just about anything. When we had an insurance inspector come when we were going to start with this company he asked what we do in excavation I printed out the sitework section of the CSI code section 3000 highlighted just about everything and handed it to him. I said about 80% residential 20% other. He looked at me and said all of this? I said we can do any of those things during the course of the year. He said "OH! Nobody's ever been that thorough."
