Fuel Tank Condensation
Most equipment manuals recommend fueling the equipment at the end of the work day to avoid condensation in the tank. We have never had a fuel problem that we could attribute to condensation. We probably fuel at the end of the day 50% of the time. Any body ever experience a problem with the fuel or part of the fuel system because of condensation?

Re: Fuel Tank Condensation
in south dakota, we can have immediate weather extremes....which is why we've been caught with crap fuel, or condensation problems. we've got to the point now that quit time is fuel/grease time. and our problems in that respect have disappeared

Re: Fuel Tank Condensation
It happens frequently here. Humidity plays a great part, more so than the temp. swings. Someone in AZ may not have any problems at all.
In all, it's best to top off the fuel at the end of the day.

Re: Fuel Tank Condensation
We find that there is a small amount of water in the fuel filters when changed out sometimes.
I can only then assume it is from condensation, I have water block filters installed on the storage tank pumps. It is best to fill up at days end.
