Re: Excavators Software?

Sid,

I've not seen one software package that does it all. We use HCSS's Heavy Bid as estimating software and Heavy Job to do Job tracking.

This company is a top notch company. Have you ever heard of 24 hour a day every day of the year support by people who have worked in the industry. They even give clients the home # of the companys President.

They also work very hard on integrating with other software programs like accounting and takeoff software.

Re: Excavators Software?

Rino,

The HeavyBid estimating software we have is the lite version and I think it sells for $1,900. the standard version sells for $3,500. and there are 2 more advanced versions available. The cost of updates and 24/7/365 support is 18% of the sale price each year. I looked at software for 5 years before deciding on this company. www.hcss.com

The HeavyJob job tracking software we have is the field version and I think it sells for $900. the manager version sells for $5,000.

I researched this for a long time and have a lot of reasons for using them.
