Excavator Needs Help

Hey guys I need some advice. I have ten years experience running excavators, bachoes, front end loaders. I am enrolling in ATS Construction school to get my crane certification in New Hampshire. I am trying to find work after shutting down my own business. Do you think this will help me land a job in the crane industry? Thanks for any feedback.

Jack, I don't know if you're willing to travel, but i've seen several ads in the N.C./S.C. area from people looking for crane operaters & mechanics.

Welcome to the site Jack.

I would simply assume that having the crane certification could be beneficial to landing a position as a crane operator. The bigger issue would be is there any demand for crane operators? One of the local crane companies here is extremely slow.

Best of luck.

Welcome to the site Jack. What kind of work did you do when you had your own business?? Crane operators do make good money, but work is slow now. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
