Excavation-Site Work Cost Codes?

Does anyone have a list of cost codes for excavation and/or site work they would be willing to share. I have been struggling for a year trying to come up with such a list. I have researched the internet to death and have found very little. I am sure there must be some contractors out there who could help me get on track. If I had a sample list I am sure I could take it from there. I also struggle with how detailed to make it. I would love to hear any insights about detail and what works for you.

I use Quickbooks Premier for accounting/job costing.

Thanks!

Never heard much about excavation codes, but most important is Call Before You Dig to get utility market, the rest would fall under safe operating practice, like the use of trench box to prevent collapse, etc I think you should look on OSHA site, they should have something there listed.

Thanks for your response, but I am looking for accounting (cost codes) not regulatory codes.

Google Uniform Construction Index

They have a series of codes that does exactly what you are asking about.
