Ex100


Hi all i just boug my first Exavator a used Hitachi EX100. I would like to fix ut up a bit Looking for used parts and a shop manual
where should be looking for part

Congrats on your first piece of iron.

Your local John Deere dealer should be able to provide you with parts. John Deere heavy equipment that is, not the little green tractors.

Dont know where your out of but in Rhode Isl there is a place called team equipment and they do alot in used hitachi's

I'm in Maine

I know where to buy new parts i want Used was look online
I can buy from Nortrax ( John Deere) or the place i bought the excavator from. Would like to add a thumb and want to keep the cost down.

here is a pic of the ex100 and the dump we rebuilt after stripping down to the frame. well i guess I will have to figure out how to get the pic up

If your in maine I'm sure you can find an edition of big truck and equipment trader. Theres alot of used stuff guys in there like Al Curtis down in N.H. he's got alot of used things and I'll bet he may have a thumb. You can normaly find that magazine at a news store.
