I'm about an hour away from Cullman. Hmm. H7 condition usually means they ran it into a river or something though.

I wonder what they used that for. It has a 14ft blade. D8's only have a 13ft blade. I saw a D9H go for $29,000 today at a auction in NJ. It was kinda rough though.

They also have plenty more bidders on the internet bidding against you. The auction does not necessarily stop at what you think is the closing time if somebody bids last minute. It can go on for hours as long as there is a bid every 15 minutes or so afterwards. You can't go by the H7 code either. It could be hardly used or a piece of junk. You need someone who knows what they are looking at to inspect it before bidding if you want more than parts. I've seen stuff as good as new go for less than 1% of its value in the old days. You can still get some deals, but not like before. |
