Day,
Nick called me back, says he can't make it to a computer he's on the road chasing after parts in Mass . He says that you have all the money and asked me to ask you to go ahead and buy it for him . Says he promises he'll pay you back. Story of Nick's life day late and dollar short.

I'm about an hour away from Cullman. Hmm. H7 condition usually means they ran it into a river or something though.

Thats the thing. If you need them. Plus pay shipping, and hope when you do get them that they are the exact ones you need.

Looks like (H7) that dozer is not repairable (sorry Nick) if I'm reading thier code description right.

I wonder what they used that for. It has a 14ft blade. D8's only have a 13ft blade. I saw a D9H go for $29,000 today at a auction in NJ. It was kinda rough though.

I used to buy stuff from the government surplus. It is hard to get the same kind of deals anymore, because they have the surplus sold by an outside private agency (over here anyway) and you then also pay a commission on top of the final price like 10%.
They also have plenty more bidders on the internet bidding against you.
The auction does not necessarily stop at what you think is the closing time if somebody bids last minute. It can go on for hours as long as there is a bid every 15 minutes or so afterwards.

You can't go by the H7 code either. It could be hardly used or a piece of junk. You need someone who knows what they are looking at to inspect it before bidding if you want more than parts.

I've seen stuff as good as new go for less than 1% of its value in the old days. You can still get some deals, but not like before.
