Re: Daily Work Truck

Rino,

The body is by Knapheid, 2002 and no rust yet on handles. Doors seem to work good. A little rust on rear bumper.

We recently picked up a 99' Chevy truck with a Knapheide cap. Seems like a good cap.

Re: Daily Work Truck

Well Joe,

I guess it's a good thing I didn't look you up and stop by Monday and have you take me out for dinner. Then you wouldn't have had that $50 in your pocket and everyone wouldn't be admiring your shiny truck.

Hmm

Re: Daily Work Truck

Brushed alum. liners that go over your budd wheels, look awsome and makes the truck alot faster.

Re: Daily Work Truck

I am looking to get rid of my 03 GMC 2500HD and get maybee a Isuzu NPR with a 11 service body. The pickup is to small for all the stuff I would like to have on the truck and with what fuel cost now adays I think the Isuzu should do good.

Re: Daily Work Truck

i really like putting stuff in cargo trailers vs. pickups....never fails, son or i have to go, and what we need onsite is in one of our trucks. plus that way the crew always knows where everything is at.

we have a 500 gallon skid mounted tank w/12 volt pump. works great for us, loader or excavator can pick up, move around

Re: Daily Work Truck

My daily driver is a 2003 Chevy 3500 Duramax. Flat bed, set up for goosenecks. I carry a mounted tool box, and when we are out of town, throw in the fuel tank. I sometimes carry a Miller Bobcat welder in addition to all my other junk. This truck averages about 18...and pulling 20,000#, seems to drop it only a mile or two. Our other work trucks are an '85 GMC step van, '84 GMC crew cab work pickup, '78 International 1600 with scissor lift and dump bed, an assortment of trailers, and the other equipment of out trade.
