Copper Prices


my supplier told me yesterday we're going to see $5 a ft. for 1" k? geesus...bought lots of it at 2.35 last year

I just got thru paying $300.00 for 10' 0f 2-1/2 L that was at $245.00 before the first of the year?

It's not much better for electrical wire. 12-2 w/g here is going for around $90 a 250' coil. Dosent seem that long ago I was paying $40. Getting hard to justify my pricing to customers. Man gas at $2.75 a gallon and wire shooting up every week. My supplier wont even hold the wire pricing for more then 3 days.

I just got $2.55 a pound for dirty scrap wire last week. This is getting a little to much out of hand here. Looks like somebody in the copper bussines is making big bucks.
