A very old trucker joke. Drivers and passengers weight rides on the steer axle. Very rarely can you be over weight on the steer axle.

Any time I would call in about being over weight on the steer axle, my dispatcher would usually say something like,

" Just make the fat chic get out before the "coop"! (slang for weigh station).

I've always liked that one too!
