Airman Excavators
Anybody hear of or operate one of these? A friend of a friend has one for sale at a good price. Google search did not turn up much.

Re: Airman Excavators
I rented one once for 1 day from a local rental company. It did not run well, probably because it wasn't maintained properly. The engine would bog down easily when trying to travel or use several functions at once. I bet the hydraulic filter had never been changed. This was my only experience on an Airmen.

Re: Airman Excavators
A rental company here used to have them.
A buddy of mine rented a real tiny excavator about 10 years ago and he tipped it over, him and another guy were able to push it back upright, (real small). I ran it for a few hours, seeing how close I could get it to tipping with out it going over, it was fun....but I wouldn't want to own one. What model/size are you looking at, can you get parts for it? What exactly is their "good price"? |

Re: Airman Excavators
a local rental company had three or four of em. They swore by then. Tried one a little bit, seemed like a decent rig, they had ax35's and 45's if I remember right.
