1 Down

There were 5 major construction equipment dealers in Connecticut. The Kobelco dealer just closed it's doors. And now there are 4 ????

Where is Joe going to get service and parts now?

Re: 1 Down

Looks like the closest is in NY state.

Not a good sign to just fold up a dealer for an entire state.

Hope Tyler stays solvent.

That's too bad Nick.
Maybe if you had bought a Kobelco instead of a Deere, you could have saved 'em!

Which dealer was that Nick ?? I know that Ehrbar's just opened up there last year and they are a dealer for Kobelco's. We have to travel to Tracey's in NY for our Kobelco parts. Great machine, but that is a major downfall.

Re: 1 Down

It was Eastern Equipment for many years. The owners had personal problems and it then turned to Mass-Conn. I think it was actually a factory store while Mass-Conn. Less than 2 years I think. Ehrbar's is a Komatsu dealer here though and is just on the NY/CT border.

Re: 1 Down

Top selling salesman from Mass-Conn contacted us to say he's now working for Westchester Tractor in Brewster, NY
I'm sure they will be able to supply Joe with any Kobelco needs.

Nick there's a Kobelco dealer off of 684 I think closer to me than Mass-Conn was. Chris our salesman/part owner of Mass-Conn went there.
