Pollen Interference
How does the falling of pollen affect you folks in relation to sealing decks? Had a job delayed because of the pollen around here. It hadn't even crossed my mind.

Re: Pollen Interference
.
I'm not concerned about allergies by the way. I thinking of the potential of whatever is painted or stained getting covered in pollen. I guess there are just some questions one should not ask in an open forum. |

Re: Pollen Interference
Never heard of that before, maybee alabama has large crops nearby that release lots of pollen at this time of year? I use twp and nothing sticks to it, we even seal when the cottonwoods/leaves are falling. Some sealers (film formers/thick/shiny) everything will stick to.

Re: Pollen Interference
It can be very bad here. I still need to clean my van from leaving a window down. As deck cleaning for others will be a new venture for me, I had not given it any thought until the ho brought it up. I have seen it a lot worse than it has been this year. This ho has an auto restoration business. They had painted a GTO blue one day, next day it had a yellow/greenish layer on it.
