I'm looking at buying a pressure washer from a buddy

My friend got a pressure washer in trade and has no use for it. I've been getting into more of the handyman stuff the last year and I was looking for one and this may be it. It's a WAP? brand? It's yellow, about 3 feet long, heavy as hell and has 3 knobs on the front and a gauge below them. and a clear plastic side tank on it. It comes with 2 different size guns. It runs on 110. Can you give me the rundown if they are decent units and a ballpark on what I should offer him? Thanks and feel free to call me an idiot

I know very little about pressure washers but did find this, Link.

From the link:

Quote:
This pressure washer makes it's own hot water and steam. It's a 120V, 30 amp electric pressure washer that has 1500 PSI @ 2.5 GPM. It uses diesel fuel for its heat which can range from hot water to steam. This machine has been demoed several times and has less than 1 hour of use on it. It has an oversize pump enabling it to go to 1500 PSI, but in achieving this pressure it draws 30 amps. This is a German made product incorporating all the latest technologies. It is extremely portable on 2 wheels and a locking caster. It has burning efficiency of over 92%, using much less fuel than other pressure washers

If it requires 30 amps, that ain't good. Find out the requirements because for 30 amps you will not be able to just plug it into a standard household receptacle.

The same reason people are offended by the word niggardly, it sounds like something else. Did I tell you about my flat tires?

Dago, wop, wop, wop, all the way down the road.

Go gas, man. A machine with a good engine will keep you in good shape as long as you change the oil frequently and the plug every month or two (depending on how often you use it).
