The greatest difference will be in the pump head and the drive motor. Disregard, but not entirely, PSI. It is HP, Motor Reliability and Pump Quality that you should seek!

Really not to much of a difference, especially if you are using good detergents. you will notice your biggest difference in GPM, atleast 4gpm machine for commercial and 5gpm for industrial. Most of your cleaning should be under 1000 psi. If you switch nozzles to a higher orifice you will lower your pressure and increase your water volume a little, this will relieve stress on your pump and unloader as they will not have to be running at max. pressure, it will also help you in that it will ease users fatigue and increase your production.

Re: How Much Diff In 2600 To 3000 Psi ??

There's not too much difference in those two amounts of pressure. They both can do a good job of tearing something up in the wrong hands. With the exception of cleaning concrete, I rarely find any use for that much psi for cleaning exteriors.
Most of the pressure washing I do these days is soft washing and rarely do I need more than a couple a hundred PSI to achieve fantastic results.
