Post Fliers.... sigh

Hi everyone! I magically found this site just when I needed it.

I've been put in a position to go it on my own. So now I'm in flier land.... and what a land it is. I would love to get some feedback on my 2 fliers.

By the way, if you should choose to "borrow" my flier and customize it for yourself, met me know and I'll send you the .pub file to make it easy.

Helpful, aren't I?

ps. names and numbers have been changed to protect the innocent

I would cut out a lot of the extra writing and make the bullets bigger.

I like the second one better overall.

You also might want to try going door to door. That is what I did when I started and you can do estimates on the spot and use less flyers.

i also am just going it on my own...just formed my LLC and contractor license...i was told the less writing on the flyer the better...i acc had someone design my flyer for me...cost was 100 dollars...def going door to door is the most efficient and cheapest way in the begining...but you should look into some of the senior areas...for instance, by me there is a real big senior comm., and they acc have there own (mini mall) on SAT and WED they allow private businesses to come in and set up a table. the cost is 20 dollars and WELL WORTH IT... i am learning quickly that you have to get creative if you want your business to thrive

Thanks..

My flier went through 12 revisions. The end result is fantastic. Not at all like the ones above. In the end I went with a simple format, large font, a picture of myself on it, and a discount for referrals. The response I've gotten is amazing. Out of 400 delivered (and 53 knocks) I'm booked solid for the next 3-4 weeks. I got 97 call backs, and 77 confirmed appointments. So thats about 20% success rate... not bad at all.

Good work.

Now you can look into raising your prices and staying busy.
