Your answer depends on the pump, the rpm of hte pump, the length and diameter of the hose, how the the unloader is set and the size of the nozzle at the end of the wand. From the way most car wash handles feel, less than 1,000 PSI, or 5 gpm. Or you could just ask the car wash what pressure their equipment operates at, or have your attorny ask. do you think there was damage done to your paint or yourself? Did you put your finger in front of the nozzle? My PW operates at 3,000 PSI & 5 gpm. I can put my finger in front of the nozzle and will not break the skin or cause more pain than a minor annoyance.
