Benefits of being licensed:

1. Make more money.

2. You pull the permits.

3. You are what the credentials say you are.

4. You can do all the HVAC for builders. They have to sub out to licensees.

5. Did I say, more money? Research what going rate is-and charge it!

Good Luck and welcome to CT

p.s.-- The folks around here want you to put your location in your profile. Also, build your posts up--then ask for 'going rates'. Some of the guys here can be a little brutal on th' greenhorns.

Good Luck.
