venting a ventless stove

I'have got a super bargain on a ventless stove from Vermont Castings. These units are about $1800.00 from dealers and even my heating supplier won't
sell it for less then $1600.00 and only deals with Majestic. The cost was $600.00 for a factory packaged unit, nice color. So I went for it even if I never
intended to install a vent free stove.
I will install a cast iron insert boot from Copperfield on the same location where the manufacturer does for the vented version.
Should I leave the rest of the burner and sensors or better to replace all with a new burner (for vented stove) and connect to a Homesaver lined chimney?
The whole thing is for decoration or ambiance only. I don't expect it to really use for much heat.

Check if your home insurance company covers, redsigned, non UL approved gas burning appliances.
