Trane Coil

Have two Trane 15 ton AHU's with slant dual circuit coils, one verticle and one horzional mounting, both coils will not hold condendate on them to darin to pan? Trane sent a drip eliminator kit, but still drops off above it? Trane is still trying to solve problem? Any one saw this before? We have not incured ever before like this, make us seem like novic contractors, but is a design issue?

if the coil is clean and the drip eliminator is installed correctly, Trane may give you a new coil under warranty. at some point Trane changed the design of the fins to stop this. i think it's a lousy design and impossible to completely stop the drips, but the drip eliminator helps alot in my experience.

Yes, check with Trane.
We do Air Conditioning In Tampa, and Trane really cares about their A/C Customers.
In our experience, they want their Trane customers happy.
