Thermostat Wiring Help

Hey Guys:

I am a flooring contractor and I am looking for some thermostat wiring help. I have a rental property where i evicted a tenant and they did some major damage including ripping off the existing thermostat off the wall.

I have an electric air handler (Lennox CB18). This is a blower coil unit and it has A.C. I know that i have a 5 wire installation. On top of the air handler this is what wires go to what letters. You see Blue, Orange, White, & Yellow. Coming out of the wall is Red, Blue, Orange, Black, & White. That means above the air handler the black wires are tied together, as well as the red wire. The yellow wire does not go to the thermostat.

I bought a Honeywell, RTH110B. The link to the manual that shows the wiring schedule for 5 wire is : http://www.honeywellcentral.com/ssi/...ers-manual.pdf

I am not sure what wire to put where. According to the manual i need to remove the little red jumper wire.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
-Dave

You need to look on the unit schematic and see what the "3" terminal energizes. The other wires will go to the same terminals (R, W1, G) on the new thermostat.

Here is a diagram that should help. But remember sometimes people splice and change wire colors, so visualy check to make sure that the wire is the same color all the way through.
