Steam Radiator question

I am renovating an old home. It is heated with a hydronic boiler and radiators. Originally the radiators were steam. All of the pipes are origonal, meaning they are piped for steam to the radiators.

Is there any advantage to going back to a steam boiler?

They were piped for steam. Depending which set up they have. they may have removed traps that were required for steam heat, but not hydronic.

Little if any advantage in switching back now. And a steam boiler isn't as efficient as a water boiler.
